Sharpe hit up Twitter to highlight the numbers from the January 3rd interview on his Club Shay Shay podcast (watch it here in case you missed it). He captioned the post with a direct quote from Katt, who said at the top of their conversation: “Club Shay Shay is going to be in a dimension it’s never been. The greatest thing floating in 2024. Mark the words. In a whole different realm of business. Oprah coming next! Once I establish this as a place of truth, oh yeah. Watch! God’s people ain’t that few.”
As it turns out, Katt was right, as his bombshell interview garnered over 46 million views in 10 days across social media and over a million audio downloads. Sharpe’s social media following also significantly increased due to “The Katt Williams Effect.”
Meanwhile, Sharpe recently responded to criticism over how he seemingly allowed Williams to slam fellow comedians, such as Steve Harvey, Cedric the Entertainer, Tiffany Haddish, Rickey Smiley, and Kevin Hart.
“I never said I was a journalist. I’ve never professed to be a journalist. I’m an entertainer. If you want hard hitting questions, 60 minutes is a platform for you, Dateline, 48 hours, go to somebody that does that,” Sharpe said about the critics during an episode of Nightcap with co-host Chad Ochocinco.
“Sometimes the only success they get to taste is taking a bite out of you,” Sharpe said, Complex reports.
“When was the last time somebody sat down for a non-sporting event, two hours, 46 minutes, and five seconds and watched and listened?”
Sharpe continued, “That’s a [Dallas] Cowboy game, that 27 million people. There’s some sporting events that don’t get watched by 27 million. That’s what you’re mad about. You not mad about I didn’t cut this man off. The embattled rapper's back in L.A. County jail after violating his probation in a 2021 assault case, and law enforcement sources tell us he's staying in the administrative segregation area -- meaning he's kept outta gen pop -- and he's got a cell all to himself where he's getting his meals brought to him.
Blue can leave his cell for up to 7 hours a week to participate in education classes or religious services -- assuming they're being offered -- or head to the rooftop yard to call his family or his lawyers.
There's a TV in the shared unit he can watch, and access to the library.
Showers are allowed every other day ... unless he's headed to court in which case he's allowed to wash up on that day too.
Blueface will find some commissary options, too ... including Texas beef and cajun chicken ramen, tuna, sliced pepperoni, hot & spicy pork cracklings, hot cheese crunchies, jalapeño peppers, hot tortilla chips and Club crackers.

Kodak Black has been behind bars since last month after cops claimed they found illegal drugs on him -- but now, his legal team says lab tests prove ... it was all kosher.
The rapper's attorney, Bradford Cohen, just filed new legal docs -- obtained by TMZ -- asking a judge to dismiss this new drug case against his client ... which alleges Kodak had a controlled substance on him, Oxy, on Dec. 7, and that he was trying to hide it from officers who rolled up on him.
You'll recall ... during the arrest, officers claimed that when they found Kodak that evening -- allegedly asleep at the wheel while parked on a road -- they discovered white powder in his mouth, and went on to allege that KB was trying to hide this from them.
The cops say they tested the substance on the spot -- and alleged that it came back positive for cocaine, so they cuffed Kodak and hauled him off to jail ... where they booked him for possession, evidence tampering, and a traffic violation.

Chrisean Rock has revealed why she can’t “move on” from Blueface, despite their tumultuous relationship.
Speaking on Instagram Live on Sunday (January 21), the reality star/rapper shed some light on her rocky relationship with the father of her child, saying nobody outside of her and Blue are able to “understand” their dynamic.
“The week before the n-gga was locked up, we had so much fucking fun together. That shit was so fun,” she said. “It’s, like, best friend type vibes. Nobody else can understand but us type shit.
“I thought when he went to jail, I was just going to be like, ‘Alright, cool, great.’ But then, I ain’t going to hold you… you see how I try move on and shit.”
She continued: “One thing about it is, I don’t want to talk up too bad on what happened. Long story short, you know how you just fall back. He changed in two seconds. Hell yeah, huh? On God, huh?”
Chrisean then referenced a viral video in which she and Blueface are seen having a heated argument before claiming the “Thotiana” rapper asked her: “You finna be outside or you finna be my bitch?”
Seemingly giving her answer to that question, Rock revealed she and her on-again, off-again boyfriend have talked “for hours” on the phone every night since Blue was jailed earlier this month.
As for where Blueface and Chrisean Rock currently stand, the latter claimed just last week that he wants to rekindle their romance, despite his incarceration.
“I don’t like this. What’s up with these n-ggas? They get locked up and then they get to calling you, acting like it was a different story before they went up in there,” Rock said on Instagram Live, shortly after accompanying the rapper to jail alongside their four-month-old son.
“How the fuck you even know what’s going on on the blogs. Oh, you was getting ready to ask me to be your girlfriend? What are you talking about, bro?”
She continued: “Why do muthafuckas think they could put out one thing and receive another? Like, that’s not what you’ve been putting out, bro. How the fuck is you calling me from that jail with information? Who’s reporting back to you?”
