Lizzo is being sued

Lizzo is being sued by three of her former dancers over claims including sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment. The lawsuit includes accusations of sexual, religious and racial harassment, discrimination, assault and false imprisonment. The singer is also accused of fat-shaming and pressuring a dancer to touch a performer’s breasts.

The complaint, which was filed Tuesday, Aug. 1 in Los Angeles , alleges that the harassment from Lizzo was “so severe or pervasive” that it made the employment conditions for Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams and Noelle Rodriguez “intolerable.” Lizzo denies all allegations.

Folks are coming out the woodwork to add their negative experiences with Lizzo to existing allegations that the Grammy winner, at the very least, is not a nice person. Another dancer, Noelle Rodriguez, has come forward and appeared on GMA to speak about her time with the Grammy winner. Lizzo issued a statement on her IG page, “These last few days have been gut-wrenchingly difficult and overwhelmingly disappointing. My work ethic, morals, and respectfulness have been questioned,” she said in her statement. “My character has been criticized. Usually, I choose not to respond to false allegations, but these are as unbelievable as they sound and too outrageous to not be addressed.” She continues, “I am not here to be looked at as a victim, but I also know that I am not the villain that people and the media have portrayed me to be these last few days. I am very open with my sexuality and expressing myself, but I cannot accept or allow people to use that openness to make me out to be something I am not,” Lizzo stated. There is nothing I take more seriously than the respect we deserve as women in the world. I know what it feels like to be body shamed on a daily basis and would absolutely never criticize or terminate an employee because of their weight.”

10.BEYONCE FORKS OUT $100K TO HELP STORM-RIDDEN FANS ATTEND D.C. SHOW

Beyoncé fans endured a massive storm this weekend to see her perform, and Queen Bey returned the favor by making sure her hive got home safely after the show.

The R&B star was in Maryland on Sunday (August 6) as part of her Renaissance Tour, and was set to perform at FedEx Field right before a storm unleashed its fury on the state. Videos showed lightning storms and pummeling rain soaking concertgoers, who got a shelter-in-place order while waiting to enter the stadium.

The Beyoncé fans were crammed inside the stadium entrance for two hours before being allowed to enter, and luckily the weather subsided enough for the show to start.

However, due to the show running late, the Metro train’s service hours needed to be extended in order for fans to get home, and that meant someone needed to pay the bill to make that happen. Bey’s ‘Renaissance’ tour company footed the bill, coming out to $100,000, according to TMZ.

This allowed the trains at the surrounding 98 stations to run for an extra 60 minutes, and it sounds like that might’ve bled into the early morning hours of Monday (August 7).
