On Wednesday (February 14), the Columbia Nashville label announced that “Texas Hold ’Em” — one of the two songs Queen B released during the Super Bowl — is being promoted on country radio.

That led to the R&B superstar’s first entry on Billboard’s Country Airplay tally.

According to Billboard, the song debuted at “No. 54 with 1.1 million in audience via 100 stations at the format in the tracking week ending Feb. 15.”

Chrisean Rock Seemingly Responds to Alleged Assault Lawsuit

Chrisean Rock seems to be responding to a lawsuit on social media ... penning an angry tweet calling out an unnamed person for wasting money on a lawyer.

The rapper took to X to vent her frustration in an expletive-laden tweet calling out a "big back bitch n****" for going after her money -- and saying this person's not getting a cent.

Now, Chrisean didn't say exactly to whom she was referring ... but we do know she's involved in one major lawsuit right now over an alleged assault at Tamar Braxton's show back in November.

As we reported ... TV personality James Wright is suing Chrisean for allegedly assaulting him backstage at Braxton's concert. He claims she left him with multiple face lacerations and two broken teeth.

Wright was reportedly hospitalized after the show in Downtown Los Angeles ... and Tamar later opened up about the alleged incident during an emotional Instagram Live.

D.L. Hughley Stands by Mo'Nique Comments, Not Looking to Reconcile

D.L. Hughley's moving on from his feud with Mo'Nique ... saying he's a grown-ass man who doesn't think every argument needs a resolution, and this one definitely will NOT!

We got the comedian/actor out in New York City, where we asked about his very public beef with the Oscar winner ... and wondered if he'd be interested in a sit down with her on Shannon Sharpe's "Club Shay Shay" podcast.

You gotta see how D.L. immediately shot down any notion of that happening ... because it sounds like he's not too thrilled with Shannon, either.

BLUEFACE DATING SHOW CONTESTANT SAYS SHE’S PREGNANT WITH HIS CHILD: ‘I’M NERVOUS’

Blueface has managed to stir up drama despite being behind bars, as a woman who previously claimed to be his side chick is now saying she’s pregnant with his child.

On Thursday (February 15), former Blue Girls Club cast member Bonnie Lashay shared an image of what appears to be a baby bump in its early stages and captioned it: “I’m Nervous [blue-heart emoji, shooting-star emoji, circus-tent emoji] blue face baby [nursing bottle emoji] Stay Tuned.”

The Instagram post was soundtracked by her own song “That’s My Daddy,” on which she takes aim at the Los Angeles native’s other lovers, two of whom — Jaidyn Alexis and Chrisean Rock — he already has children with, though he has denied responsibility for the latter’s

Wayne said about KD's rap skills. "He's a backpack rapper."

Kevin Durant is now a certified hyphenate celeb -- athlete-rapper, that is -- and the title comes courtesy of his collab with Stalley on a track called “Scared Money.”

Stalley tells TMZ Hip Hop ... he and KD shot the video a couple of weeks ago in NYC … a full circle moment after recording the track last summer.

KD was feeling ambitious and asked Stalley to send him a beat, and their mutual friend Travonne Edwards suggested the boom-bap instrumental that became “Scared Money.”

Stalley says the collab came organically … KD sent over his verse faster than some of the full-time rappers he’s worked with in the past!!!

The track will live on Stalley’s upcoming album “Peerless” which drops in March.

A Lil Wayne and Kevin Durant track exists ... and the rap legend just revealed it almost made it onto his most recent project with 2 Chainz, but he decided it simply wasn't time to share it to the world.

Weezy spilled the beans in a Bleacher Report interview with Taylor Rooks, who said she spoke with Durant before their sit-down ... and he let her in on their secret.

"He said he had a question -- 'Are you going to drop a snippet of you all song on the radio show?'" Rooks explained to Tunechi.

The "A Milli" rapper was caught off guard, as their duet was supposed to be "on the low" ... and Wayne hilariously called KD out for tellin' their business.

"I just want you to know you messed up," Wayne laughed as he sent a message to the Phoenix Suns superstar. "That song was being considered to be on 'Carter VI' and now since you're saying something, it's not goin' on 'Cater VI.'"

In fact, Wayne said it was initially supposed to go on the "Welcome 2 ColleGrove" album that just came out in November ... but he's saving their special song for something else.

"KD's a jewel," Wayne said about KD's rap skills. "He's a backpack rapper."

"I can imagine he probably could call a timeout in a game, and probably ask him to rap and he probably got a verse for you."

KANYE WEST & TY DOLLA $IGN CELEBRATE 'VULTURES 1' DEBUTING AT NO. 1 ON BILLBOARD 200

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign‘s Vultures 1 has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

According to Billboard, the collaborative album earned 148,000 album-equivalent units in its first week, with 129,000 of that figure coming from streaming units (167.78 million on-demand streams in total), 18,000 from pure album sales and 1,000 from TEA (track equivalent album) units.

Kanye is now level with Bruce Springsteen and Barbra Streisand with 11 No. 1 albums to his name, with only Drake and Taylor Swift (13), JAY-Z (14) and The Beatles (19) ahead of him.

The album is Ty Dolla $ign’s first No. 1 and second top 10 following 2020’s Featuring Ty Dolla $ign.

Ye reacted to the news by issuing a brief statement to Complex saying: “It’s a beautiful time.”

Ty also celebrated the achievement on his Instagram Stories, posting a video of him lifting his index finger to the camera while silencing the naysayers.

Kanye West Fires Back At Swifties, Claims He's Helped Taylor More Than Hurt Her

Kanye West is firing back at Taylor Swift fans who are trying to block him from a top spot on the music charts ... telling them he's not an enemy, though not exactly a friend either.

Here's the deal ... Swifties are calling on other Swifties to buy and stream Beyoncé's new country music to block Kanye's new music from getting the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100.

Kanye's seen the "SWIFTIE EMERGENCY" on social media and now he's firing back ... and making some interesting counterpoints.

Ye says Swifties shouldn't be coming after him because, in his mind, he's been far more helpful than harmful to Taylor's career. Kanye's views in Wednesday's post jibe with what he's rapped about before ... namely, "I made that b**** famous."

Of course, T-Swift and Kanye have beefed ever since he crashed her 2009 VMA win to say Beyoncé had a better music video ... although, Ye is of the belief the longstanding drama has actually elevated Taylor's profile.

Here, Kanye also points out he was on Taylor's side when Scooter Braun bought her master recordings of which her dad reportedly made $15 million from ... and he says TayTay and Beyoncé are actually big inspirations to all musicians, including himself.

Kanye name-dropping Taylor on his new "Vultures" album seems to have opened up some wounds ... but he says the album is actually super positive and fun.

Bottom line from Kanye to the Swifties ... "I AM NOT YOUR ENEMY UUUM IM NOT YOUR FRIEND EITHER THOUGH LOL."

BENZINO BACKTRACKS EMINEM HATE DURING DRUNKEN INTERVIEW MOMENT: 'HE BELONGS IN HIP HOP'

Benzino has had a momentary change of heart when it comes to his hatred of Eminem, declaring that there is a place in rap for the Detroit legend.

During an emotional episode of Drink Champs, the Hip Hop mogul started out by doubling down on his past disdain of Em, reiterating his opinion that he won their most recent battle and asking why the Detroit MC had failed to respond to his latest diss.

However a few moments later, a visibly intoxicated Benzino was nearly moved to tears by the effects of the alcohol, and reflected on how his beef with Marshall Mathers escalated so precipitously.

“I don’t have nothing against Eminem,” he began around the 2:35:50 mark. “He can rap but I care about us more. I don’t want to talk about it no more. My daughter came to industry figuring ‘I gotta be cool with Eminem because everybody is against my dad.'”

He continued: “I don’t hate Eminem. I don’t know him to hate him. I don’t hate white people tired of this shit, man. It’s just too much. I don’t want to be the bad guy. […] Eminem ain’t no bad person. He belongs in Hip Hop. It’s a big racist problem in America right now and Eminem could probably stop half of it.”

Benzino also reflected on rumors that he has a particular dislike for white people. At the end of the conversation, Benzino even made an appeal to rap fans everywhere, hoping everyone could unite and beefs could end.

REMY MA CLAIMS CREDIT FOR USHERING IN ERA OF UNITY AMONG FEMALE RAPPERS

Remy Ma has credited her Summer Jam performance in 2017 with helping to ushering in an “era of unity” amongst women in Hip Hop.

The Terror Squad rapper sat down with Hot97 on Saturday (February 17), where she made the proclamation. According to her, she was the one who led the charge to empower female rappers when she invited them up to perform Queen Latifah‘s classic, “U.N.I.T.Y.”

“Catfight every time you turn around,” she said. “I feel like that’s something that, when I first came home and I started recording again, that I really aspired to be a part of and to make happen. I kind of feel like it started when we did Summer Jam that year. It was me, Latifah, Lyte, Cardi, Young M.A., Kim, Monie Love, Yo-Yo. Everybody — Rah Digga — from all the different generations. The past, the present, and the future on the same stage.”

She continued: “From there, I feel like that kind of opened up the doors, Not just for the artists themselves, but for people to see. I feel like people didn’t know they could have this many people that they like at one time. I even see it now even with some of the fans, because it used to be that everyone had their own fanbase. But now you see the fanbases combining.”

BENNY THE BUTCHER CROWNS J. COLE BEST RAPPER ALIVE RIGHT NOW

Benny The Butcher has crowned J. Cole the best rapper alive right now – but he wouldn’t have always said that.

The New York native came through to HipHopDX recently and chopped it up about a variety of topics – including who he considers the GOAT in Hip Hop. He explained that while Cole has always been a beast, the run he’s been on lately has solidified his status.

“I’ma have to say Cole [is the best rapper alive],” Benny said. “Like right now, fresh in my memory right now. It gotta be that kid there, man. It’s a different aura with him, right? He always been a contender but I feel like he’s coming into his own right and standing over it. You know how [Lil] Wayne said he’s claiming it? I kinda feel like he’s claiming it right now. And he’s done enough where he could claim it.”

Benny also revealed he was recently at a writing camp with the Dreamville crew and he saw Cole going “crazy.”

Killer Mike Details His Reason Why Black Men Should Only Marry Black Women

*Killer Mike is not shy about airing his thoughts on sociopolitical topics. Interracial marriage is no different, with the GA rhyme slinger voicing his support of black men only taking black women to be their wives.

Killer Mike told Charlemagne while detailing his support of Williams’ view. “Who’s going to understand me like a Black woman? Who gon’ understand my pain, my strife, my struggle? Who’s going to understand culturally how important it is for my Black children to be proud to be Black? Even when she didn’t birth these children, she’s still their mother — nobody’s going to do that like a Black woman.

“That’s not putting down other people, but that’s [to] say before you criticize me now, I’m going to look at your life decisions, n-gga, and if your life decisions didn’t bring you to a Black woman, then, n-gga, a lot of the shit you say might not be [credible].”
