Al B. Sure Seems to Allude to Diddy Regarding Coma, Speaks on Son Quincy

Al B. Sure! seemed to suggest his coma from a couple years back might be tied to Diddy somehow -- and he's also opening up about where things stand with his son Quincy.

The R&B singer showed face Friday at the Equal Justice Now Awards in L.A. -- where Al was promoting his equal access to healthcare initiative alongside Ben Crump -- and he addressed the crowd at one point ... with a cryptic nod to the Diddy situation going on.

Al says he's working on a filmed project that'll tell his life story ... and in the same breath, he said the public will finally get a chance to see how he really ended up in a coma in 2022.

You probably heard about Al's health scare that year -- he suddenly fell ill and fell into a coma in late summer '22, and he was incapacitated for 3 whole months before miraculously waking up and working toward a full recovery. An official cause was never offered up.

Now, however ... Al appears to be suggesting there's a Diddy tie -- although he doesn't quite say what that might be ... even in a follow-up interview we did with him right afterward.

What he did touch on, though, was where things stand with his biological son Quincy Combs -- with whom he's had an estranged relationship over the years, dating back to the '90s.

Al clarifies what he was trying to convey when he recently asked Quincy to "come home" amid all the drama going on in Diddy's life right now ... basically explaining that his door is always open, and that he loves his boy no matter what.

He also touches on the fact that Diddy's kids shouldn't be collateral damage in all this. In terms of Diddy himself ... ABS tells us he doesn't wanna speak on another man's endeavors.

Al also says that he's glad Quincy wasn't at Diddy's L.A. home when the raids went down earlier this week ... even though Diddy's other kids, Justin and King, got detained during it.

The last point Al makes is that Quincy is a grown man, and he'll make his own decisions.

Sounds like he's keeping the door open, and hoping QC chooses to to leave Diddy's side.

DIDDY’S SON KING COMBS BREAKS HIS SILENCE FOLLOWING RAIDS

Diddy‘s son, King Combs, has spoken out for the first time since the Department of Homeland Security raided his father’s two homes in Miami and Los Angeles.

The aspiring rapper took to his Snapchat on Friday (March 29) to imply that people didn’t know the full story behind the raids.

“Stop with the [blue cap emoji],” he wrote, simply, without any further comment. King Combs also didn’t tag anyone in his post, so it’s unclear whom he was addressing.

FAT JOE WEIGHS IN ON DIDDY: ‘I’VE BEEN PRAYING FOR HIM & HIS FAMILY’

Fat Joe has joined the chorus of people who have shown support for Diddy amidst his ongoing legal issues.

The Terror Squad leader sat down at Hot 97 on Friday (March 29), and shared his thoughts on the Bad Boy mogul’s struggles.

“What I can say in the most respectful way is, I don’t know all the details,” he said at the 7:45 mark. “But I’ve been praying for him and his family. He’s my friend for 30 years. And so, I’m gonna just see what the outcome is, and I’m praying for the best thing for him, and his family, and everybody involved.”

He continued: “So I’m not disrespecting nobody. I’m just praying for this whole situation — this whole nightmare — I’m praying that it goes away.”

Yung Miami has hit back at claims that she was paid by Diddy to be a sex worker and also operated as his drug mule.

While not acknowledging the allegations directly, the City Girls rapper wrote on X (formerly Twitter) shortly after they made headlines: “Y’all be going for ANYTHING.”

When a user joked: “you for that 250k a month,” referencing rumors that the Bad Boy boss paid her a quarter of a million dollars each month, Miami fired off another defensive response.

“Something the internet made up and yall ran with it!!! N-ggas don’t even pay that for child support why tf would a n-gga ever pay me 250k for. FOR WHAT??” she replied.

Yung Miami, who dated Diddy on and off for over a year, was accused by producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones of being paid by the mogul for sex and also smuggling drugs on his behalf.

The allegations were made in an amendment to Rod’s sexual assault lawsuit that was filed against Puffy earlier this year.

In it, Rod claimed that Miami would procure pink cocaine, which is a mixture of cocaine and ecstasy, for Diddy’s parties and delivered it to him via private jet at Pharrell‘s Something In The Water Festival in Virginia last year.

However, TMZ has reported that the “Act Up” rapper has an alibi to prove her innocence.

Diddy Surfaces in Public Again, Speaks on Camera with Stevie J in Tow

Diddy is out and about in Miami -- and he's even speaking now too ... evidenced in a new clip that an influencer took of the mogul out in the wild, who also captured Stevie J.

Fitness trainer and life coach Wes Watson -- who has more than a million followers on Instagram -- posted a video and a photo on Friday that shows Diddy at a cafe in town called Pura Vida ... and it looks like Puff was in a good mood, flashing a smile and even chatting.

Unclear which location this was at specifically -- there's a zillion of these in the area -- but our bet is that it was one of the ones close to Diddy's homes there on Star Island.

Anyway, check out the clip ... Diddy flashes an "L" with his fingers, and says "Love." He also says what's up to someone off-camera and salutes them too. Funny enough, Wes actually caught Diddy's longtime Bad Boy collaborator and friend Stevie in the background as well.

It's interesting that Stevie showed up here ... 'cause he was also recently named in a lawsuit alongside Diddy -- which included a salacious allegation that turned out not to be true.

There was another guy rolling in their crew, but it's unclear who he might be. In any case ... the point is, Diddy is stepping out and living his life -- more evidence he's not hiding out.

Remember, this is actually the second outing we've seen of Diddy's in the past 24 hours. On Thursday night -- he and his teenage twin daughters hit up a Top Golf in town ... and there, too, Diddy didn't seem too stressed about the situation he found himself in this week.

Of course, we're referring to the two raids his homes were subjected to ... which left at least one of them (that we know of) completely trashed in the aftermath, with the place looted.

We know Diddy and co. are furious over the way this was all handled ... especially since he hasn't been arrested or charged with a crime -- and yet, the feds stormed on in regardless.

It's also clear Diddy has a good support system around him ... and while he's far from out of the woods at this point -- he's at least comfortable enough to show his face in public.

The saga continues ... and at this rate, it feels like we'll be seeing (and maybe hearing) more from Diddy in the coming weeks.

BEYONCÉ’S NEW ALBUM COWBOY CARTER

Billboard reported that the album was officially Spotify’s most-streamed album in a single day in all of 2024 as of release day (March 29). The project’s “Texas Hold Em” was streamed more than 200 million additional times before the album’s release.

“Cowboy Carter [also] has the biggest debut to date earning more first-day streams on Amazon Music globally than any of her previous albums. The album also marks the most first-day streams for a country album by a female artist in the history of Amazon Music,” reported the outlet.

Cowboy Carter is also a family affair, as it features a guest appearance from six-year-old daughter Rumi Carter.

While the eagerly anticipated project features big names such as Miley Cyrus, Post Malone, Dolly Parton, and Willie Nelson, Queen Bey also collaborated with Rumi, one of the twins she gave birth to in 2017.

Rumi appears on “Protector,” the fourth song on the lengthy 27-track country album. She can be heard briefly in the intro, where she says: “Mom, can I hear the lullaby please?”

A tender acoustic ballad, the song is about Beyoncé’s love of her children and features lyrics such as: “I will lead you down that road if you lose your way/ Born to be a protector/ Even though I know someday you’re gonna shine on your own/ I will be your projector.”

Above all her gripes regarding Cowboy Carter, Banks particularly felt Beyoncé missed an opportunity by not featuring some of country music’s biggest names like Taylor Swift and Kacey Musgraves, among others.

“I personally would have jumped out of my seat for a KT Tunstall appearance,” she continued. “A strong dr. Luke power ballad was missing … like ‘Low’.”

Overall, Banks felt the project was a snooze, noting that she “dozed off again.”

JOE BUDDEN QUESTIONS TRUE MOTIVE BEHIND DRAKE'S SUPPORT FOR SEXYY RED

Joe Budden has revealed that he is skeptical as to whether Drake’s support for Sexyy Red and others younger artists is solely related to their music.

The Hip Hop personality took to his eponymous podcast on Thursday (March 28) to outline his theory on Drake’s fascination with the St. Louis-born rapper in particular.

Budden seemed to suggest that Drake’s co-sign is so valuable that labels pay him to prop up their other artists, hence his recent fascination with Sexyy Red.

He began: “Respectfully, it sound like a n-gga that could rap at that level that gets paid off of everybody’s deal tryna rap. That’s what it sound like to me…Oh, you think he just like being around Sexyy Red that much?…I can name some more people.”

Lizzo Says She 'Quits,' Blames Lies & Bullying for Step Back

Lizzo may be taking a big step back from the limelight ... as she announced she was quitting being famous in a disheartening post Friday on social media.

The Grammy winner shared on Instagram she was over the online chatter about her appearance ... and slammed people who were spreading lies about her for clout. According to Lizzo, she has been feeling disrespected after being the butt of jokes and having her character ripped apart by strangers.

She added ... "All I want is to make music and make people happy and help the world be a little better than how I found it. But I'm starting to feel like the world doesn't want me in it."

And so, the chart-topper announced her exit from the spotlight ... signing off her message with "I QUIT."

It's unclear if this means Lizzo will stop making music altogether, or if she's just taking a social media break -- but it's obvious she isn't feeling good as hell right now.

The singer faced a legal loss last month, when a judge denied her request to toss out the lawsuit.

Fans have since rallied around the singer, sending her well wishes in the comments of her announcement.

Kodak Black Claims Limo Company Overcharged Him $600k

Kodak Black is facing a lawsuit from a high-end limo service accusing him of owing a whopping $600k in unpaid fees ... but the "Zeze" rapper blames the company for snoozing at the wheel!!!

Kodak was sued this week by I&D Concierge -- the limo company KB used from 2018 to 2024 -- for allegedly skipping out on hundreds of hours worth of driving services.

But Kodak's lawyer Bradford Cohen is firing back at the lawsuit, telling TMZ Hip Hop ... I&D took full advantage of his client when he was going through a rough patch, and capitalized on the situation.

Kodak would call I&D for a vehicle, which would arrive one hour later, but sometimes he needed to somewhere -- like his baby mama's home -- quickly, so he'd order an Uber.

The problem is ... he wouldn't cancel the car service, and the I&D driver would arrive at his home and sit there until Kodak came back.

As a result, he would sometimes get charged for up to 16 hours, and says he often found the driver sleeping in his driveway. Seems odd to wait that long without making contact with the client, but that's Kodak's story.

Cohen believes the limo company acted in very bad faith.

Per I&D's books, Kodak amassed a whopping $1.8 million in charges but his accountant disputed around $600K of the charges, and ultimately paid out $1.2 million to I&D, leaving the remaining amount up for debate ... likely in court.

We reached out to I&D to get their response to Kodak's claim ... no word back yet.

Key Glock‘s recent felony arrested

Key Glock‘s recent felony arrest in Atlanta has been captured on livestream by the rapper himself, who blasted it out to his myriad of fans worldwide.

The online drama unfolded on Thursday (March 28), when Key Glock showed a live video of himself being detained in the back of an Atlanta Police officer’s car. The officer tells the rapper (real name Markeyvius Cathey) that he’ll be ticketed for weed possession.

“Just ‘cause of the smell of weed,” the cop said. “There was a little bit of weed in the car in the little bag from wings. But that’s just a ticket. Just a little like 3.5 [grams].”

But the guns found in the rapper’s car during the traffic stop presented an even bigger issue, as they led to a deeper investigation and the discovery of two open warrants for rapper’s arrest.

“It says they’ll pick you up within 50 miles of Sandy Springs,” the cop said. “And we’re within 50 miles. So, they’ll probably want you, man.”

Key Glock, who was originally pulled over for having tints that were too dark, was subsequently booked on two felony charges for the open warrants.

B.G. FACING POTENTIAL LEGAL TROUBLE FOLLOWING BOOSIE BADAZZ PERFORMANCE

B.G. has put himself at risk of returning to prison after his probation officer discovered that the ex-Hot Boy did a performance with Boosie Badazz without permission.

The Guardian is reporting that the rapper (real name Christopher Dorsey) violated his probation when he performed with the Baton Rouge native, because convicted felons are not permitted to associate with other convicted felons as a term and condition of their release.

The offending performance in question happened on February 8, when the Louisiana rappers shared an emotional moment upon reuniting for an appearance at the Wet Las Vegas Adult Ent + After Hours nightclub. In social media clips shared by fans who were present at the time, the rap veterans could be seen embracing each other.

The Hot Boys MC took the stage at the venue later that night, with 21 Savage in the audience.

Another condition of B.G.’s release requires him to “obtain prior written approval … before entering self-employment” — which he did not do when he released Choppers & Bricks with Gucci Mane, who is also a convicted felon.

The New Orleans MC’s probation officer filed for a warrant for arrest on March 21, claiming that B.G. had violated his probation several times. The probation officer also told B.G. to find other methods of employment, to which he reportedly replied, “I’m a rapper. That [is] my profession.”

QUAVO DISPUTES OFFSET'S BEST RAP GROUP RANKING: 'MIGOS THE BEST GROUP IN THE WORLD'

Quavo doesn’t agree with his former groupmate Offset placing Migos at No. 2 in his ranking of best rap groups of all time.

Set’s ranking happened during his appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast, published on Wednesday (March 27).

“I’ll give us [number] two because I’m respectful,” he said. “You gotta respect Outkast. They kicked the door down for us down South when it was a time that we weren’t even accepted. I’ma put Outkast first, I’ma put us at two.

“I’ma put Wu-Tang [at three]. The LOX, I give them four. I respect N.W.A and they kicked the gangsta off and everybody in that situation still got some type of motion that’s still here, but I’m young too.”

Taking to his Instagram Story the following day, Quavo seemingly responded by instead placing the group at the top.

“Migos the best group in the world. Hands down long live Take [rocket emoji],” he wrote.
