Nicki Minaj Sued by Fan Accusing Her of Slander

According to the documents, obtained by TMZ, Tameer refers to himself as one of Nicki's most ardent followers for the past 15 years, and claims he helped her career by promoting her 2023 album, "Pink Friday 2."

But Tameer says things soured in 2017, when, according to the suit ... Nicki went through her "Nicki hate train" phase, leading her to accuse fans -- like Tameer -- of being paid moles sent to sabotage her.

He claims Nicki publicly ridiculed him, inviting him to her hotel on one occasion to film and embarrass him in front of 100,000 viewers on Instagram Live.

The docs say Nicki also mistreated him during a Super Bowl weekend event in 2020 when her husband, Kenneth Petty, battered him. Peak says Nicki later sent him a DM referring to the incident.

Then in 2024, he says he got messages from others that Nicki wanted him to "stop saying dumb s--t," hurting his reputation with her fans.

Tameer claims Nicki also targeted him on Twitter (now X) during several Stationhead sessions, where she would interact live with fans.

In one session, Nicki allegedly wrote, "It's clear they're not necessarily, you know, a full basket umm at the picnic." Peak took that to mean he was mentally unstable or intellectually deficient.

In another, he says Nicki accused him of being "one sandwich short of a picnic" and receiving a check from the government, implying he was on welfare.

Nicki allegedly went on to label Tameer a "stalker" who impersonated members of her team.

As a result, he's suing Nicki for $5 million in damages for reputational harm, emotional distress and financial loss. We've reached out to Nicki's rep for her side of this Barbz saga.

Pregnant Cardi B Fires Back Over Skin-Bleaching Accusation, 'Y'all Dumb'

Cardi B is not having it ... delivering the clapback of all clapbacks when someone had the nerve to ask online if she’d been bleaching her skin.

The rapper quoted the offending X post Wednesday ... calling out the skin-bleaching accuser as dumb, and explaining her paler look is due to her unborn baby sucking the life out of her -- leaving her pale, anemic, with sunken eyes and popping veins.

Cardi threw in that sunbathing was also a no-go ... 'cause she gets hot and dizzy in no time, making it a real health hazard ... so for the time being, she has to embrace her natural, paler complexion.

She finished off with a classic Cardi mic drop ... telling folks to "stop thinking with your a**hole."

Scarface Reportedly Admitted To ICU Over Unspecified Health Issue

Scarface has been admitted to a Houston-area hospital, though details about what may have landed him there are scarce.

On Saturday (August 24), the Geto Boys legend shared a post on Instagram, in which he can be seen lying in a hospital bed with a number of tubes and wires attached to his body.

He did not offer details about his condition, only sharing the caption, “Ouch… [three prayer hands emojis] Grateful.” However, gaging from the badge on the medical professional tending to Face in the photo, he appears to be in the ICU at one of Houston Methodist Hospital’s many facilities across the city.

The post prompted comments of support from a number of Scarface’s peers, including fellow Houstonian Slim Thug, E-40, DJ Premier, Twista, Sleepy Brown, KXNG Crooked, Mannie Fresh and DJ Quik.

Juvenile Puts '400 Degreez' Up Against Any JAY-Z & Nas Album: 'Numbers Don't Lie'

Juvenile has made his case for being one of the best rappers of all time by putting 400 Degreez up against JAY-Z and Nas‘ best efforts.

In an interview with HoodClips, the Cash Money Records legend argued that to be considered an all-time great in Hip Hop, an MC must have hit records in addition to talent on the mic. “Some of those cats [up north], they got their own definition of what they call Hip Hop, and Southern Hip Hop just don’t fit the bill at certain points,” he said.

“Look, man, some of the best rappers — they got some muthafuckas that can rap they ass off but can’t make a fucking hit. [Being] the best rapper in the world don’t mean nothing if you ain’t got no fucking hits!”Juvie then boldly challenged listeners to pick their favorite JAY-Z and Nas album and compare their sales to that of his classic 1998 LP 400 Degreez.

“Go check the numbers. N-ggas always talk about, ‘Nas da-da-da. JAY-Z da-da-da.’ Okay, who sold the most records? I think that’s what counts, right?” he continued.“Let’s see who sold the most records on each solo album. Pick your best Nas album, pick your best JAY-Z album. I’ma take 400 [Degreez] and you tell me who sold the most on their solo album.”

He added: “I’m telling you, numbers don’t lie […] Go pull up Billboard numbers for all-time record sales per album, and see where all these Hip Hop heads that you love so much, see where they rank at. “I posted it one time ’cause I wanted people to see it. Just go pull that up and see where your all-time favorite rapper is, ’cause I think a lot of them got it fucked up.”

Juvenile is partly correct. 400 Degreez has been certified four-times platinum by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America), meaning it has sold at least four million copies in the U.S. alone. Hov’s Vol. 2… Hard Knock Life, also released in 1998, is currently six-times platinum, while The Black Album is also quadruple platinum.

Outside of his solo catalog, his 2011 collaboration with Kanye WestWatch the Throne, has sold at least five million units domestically, according to the RIAA. Nas, on the other hand, has never surpassed more than three million sales for a single album, with It Was Written being his highest-certified release at triple platinum.

JAY-Z Adds String Of New Platinum Plaques To His Collection

JAY-Z‘s collection of platinum plaques has grown this week, as the rapper received a bevy of new RIAA certifications for his solo work and his joint project with Kanye West.

On Friday (August 23), the Recording Industry Association of America officially bestowed platinum and multi-platinum certification on six of Hov’s most beloved singles. Of those, the only one to earn its very first indication of 1 million records sold was 2000’s “I Just Wanna Love You (Give It 2 Me).” “Hard Knock Life (Ghetto Anthem)” hit the 2x platinum mark, while “99 Problems” is officially 3x platinum. The Brooklyn rapper’s Justin Timberlake-assisted “Holy Grail” is now 6x platinum, as is the anthemic “Run This Town,” featuring Rihanna and Kanye West.

The former partners in rhyme also earned a 3x platinum certification for the Watch The Throne track “No Church In The Wild,” which features Frank Ocean on the hook. The Roc Nation boss’ latest accolades arrive on the heels of an equally impressive feat for one of his other hit singles.

Earlier this year, Alicia Keys took to Instagram to celebrate her song with JAY-Z, “Empire State of Mind,” hitting one billion streams and tease another collaboration.

Sexyy Red Cancels Several West Coast ‘4 President Tour’ Dates

Sexyy Red has quietly canceled a handful of dates on the west coast before her Sexyy Red 4 President tour has even kicked off.

Originally set to launch in Seattle on Thursday (August 22), the trek will now begin in Atlanta on Saturday (August 24) after the rapper put the kibosh on not only the Seattle date but Portland (August 23) and Oakland (August 26) as well.Sexyy didn’t make any announcement on social media, but fans were alerted through Ticketmaster – which simply lists the events as cancelled by the organizer.

Just last month, Sexyy Red claimed that major concert promoters were attempting to sabotage the tour amid reports of low ticket sales. Denying the reports, she said: “My fans are buying tickets we’re doin just fine we not cancelling no tour dis cancelling sht all cap.”

The St. Louis native then claimed that her decision to use an independent Black-owned touring company had left a sour taste in the mouths of larger outfits, who she believes are now using underhanded tactics in an attempt to derail her tour.

Russell Simmons Tells Black People To Stop 'Attacking' Him & His Friends Over Rape Claims

Russell Simmons has hit back at people criticizing him over his alleged history of rape and sexual assault, as well as famous friends such as Usher and Taraji P. Henson for visiting him in Bali where he currently lives.

Speaking on Instagram Live, the Def Jam co-founder specifically addressed Black people over what he sees as unwarranted backlash aimed at both himself and his celebrity pals. “Black people, did you forget that I got 10,000 Black men out of jail? And that I changed the factory farming industry forever? And that I registered more of you to vote than probably anybody you know?” he asked, touting his involvement in social justice initiatives.

“And I worked for Black Lives Matter and every movement that’s helped our people — all the women’s rights and even gay rights movements that I did so much work for.”Simmons then attacked those who have been critical of various stars continuing to associate with him despite the allegations: “To let them demonize me in such a way that my friends cannot visit me without you attacking them, but yet you stand next to Donald Trump. Knock it off.”

The 66-year-old also denied that he was hiding in Bali to avoid prosecution: “I’ll be in New York next week. This idea that I’m hiding is stupid. I call the paparazzi on myself everytime I’m there […] Are you under some kind of tricknology? Are you lost? I’m your friend, Black people.” Simmons went on to double down on his denial regarding the rape allegations: “Still to date, I have never spoken to a policeman about anything. I have never spoken to a judge, civil or criminal, about anything. From what I can tell, Joe Biden, Bill Clinton and President Trump all have more credible claims against them than I do, if you ask Oprah.

“Again, I’ve never been charged with anything. Who took nine lie detector tests, seven of which were from the chairman of the Polygraph Association? Did Bill Clinton do that? Did Joe Biden do that? Did President Trump do that? Knock it off.”

Rapper Juvenile Says He's Flying Southwest Now After American Airlines Fiasco

Rapper Juvenile is shouting out Southwest Airlines for swooping in to rescue him after he got downgraded to coach on an American Airlines flight and left the plane in anger ... and he tells us AA still hasn't made things right.

The "Slow Motion" rapper joined us on "TMZ Live" Friday and gave us the lowdown on this week's travel nightmare. Juvenile tells us ... after he lost his first-class seat on his AA flight to Dallas, Texas, Southwest Airlines hooked him up with a couple free tickets so he could make it to his Wednesday night show in Fort Worth.

Thing is ... Juvenile says he hasn't even flown SWA for years ... so that's a pretty big gesture from them. Juvenile is also expanding on his American Airlines fiasco ... he says he could have made a much bigger scene on the plane, because he bought more than 10 tickets for his band members.

Instead, Juvenile says he decided not to inconvenience his whole tour group ... and essentially took one for the team, and he and his wife left the plane. AA told us they've personally spoken to Juvenile to resolve the situation ... but he's calling B.S.

While Juvenile's got nothing but good things to say about Southwest, it seems like he is pumping the brakes on air travel for now ... he's in a Sprinter van for the win!!!
