T.I., Tiny, OMG Girlz Awarded $71 Million in Legal Fight Against Toy Company

T.I. and Tiny emerged victorious in their lawsuit against toy company MGA Entertainment -- and if the award stands, the couple will be a whole lot richer as a result.

A jury awarded the music duo a whopping $71 million after their weeks-long trial wrapped up Monday after finding MGA violated the intellectual property rights of their teen pop group, OMG Girlz ... according to Rolling Stone magazine.

The jurors reportedly agreed that "L.O.L. Surprise! O.M.G. dolls" infringed on the trade dress and misappropriated the name, image, and likeness of the all-female group that T.I. and Tiny formed in 2009.

At trial, T.I. and Tiny zeroed in on 7 dolls MGA promoted that they argued had the identical appearance of their OMG Girlz during "very specific public events," including the image and likeness of Tiny's oldest daughter, Zonnique Pullins.

Offset Celebrates Earning First Diamond Plaque: ‘This Big To Me’

Offset is thrilled that he’s earned his first-ever RIAA Diamond certification for his Tyga collaboration “Taste.”

The former Migos member wrote, “Went diamond today God is good” on X and immediately followed that up by sharing a post on X from Chart Data that pointed out that the song had moved ten million units.

How many streams does it take to go Gold, Platinum, and Diamond?
Gold certification

A gold certification in the United States signifies that a song or album has reached 500,000 album sales (or 500,000 album equivalents). In terms of streaming, the RIAA considers 1,250 on-demand audio and/or video streams as equivalent to one album unit for paid subscriptions and 3,750 streams to one album on free (ad-supported) platforms.

Therefore, to achieve a gold certification, a release would need to accumulate 625 million subscription streams or 1.875 billion free streams. Of course, album sales also contribute to these totals, so the number of SPS (sales plus streaming) is what counts towards certification, and it takes all these units into consideration.
Platinum certification

A platinum certification is awarded when a song or album reaches one million EAUs. Following the RIAA’s conversion rates, this translates to between 1.25–3.75 billion streams.

Recent Platinum-certified albums include:Purpose by Justin Bieber
÷ by Ed Sheeran
Diamond certification

The highest level of certification is diamond, which represents 10 million equivalent album units. In terms of streaming, this equates to between 12.5–37.5 billion streams.

Attorney Marc Agnifilo appears in a new TMZ Studios documentary -- "The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment" -- which is dropping soon on Tubi.

Agnifilo has a different view of Diddy's "Freak Offs" than the U.S. Attorney. Agnifilo says there were typically threesomes, with Diddy, Cassie and another male.

That raises the question ... why would there be 1,000 bottles of baby oil for threesomes, as opposed to orgies?

Check out the clip -- Agnifilo makes the point, there are Costco stores near both of Diddy's homes, so ...
