Diddy's Mom Janice Combs Weighs In On Son's Legal Woes, Says He's Not A Monster

Diddy’s mom has finally weighed in on her son’s legal troubles ... stating while he might not have been completely honest about the whole Cassie situation, that doesn’t automatically make him guilty of all the allegations in his indictment.

Janice Combs spoke out about the situation to Local 10 News on Sunday through her attorney, Natlie G. Figgers ... expressing her devastation over the allegations against her son, saying he was judged not by the truth but by a "narrative created out of lies."

Janice added, "To bear witness to what seems like a public lynching of my son before he has had the opportunity to prove his innocence is a pain too unbearable to put into words.”

She said she thinks his settlement with Cassie set off a domino effect leading to all this drama, but she firmly believes her son deserves his day in court to prove his innocence after being hit with serious charges like sex trafficking, racketeering and other serious crimes.

Diddy's Ex-Bodyguard Denies Rape Claims In Emotional Interview: 'You Got The Wrong Man!'

Diddy‘s one-time bodyguard Joseph ‘Big Joe’ Sherman was named in a recent sexual assault lawsuit filed against the embattled mogul, but he’s confident that his innocence will be proven.

A woman named Thalia Graves filed the complaint in a New York federal court late last month, alleging that back in 2001, she was dating someone who worked at Bad Boy, and Diddy called her to set up a meeting, under the guise of needing to talk to her about her partner’s “performance issues” at work.

The suit recounts her alleged subsequent rape by both Diddy and his then-bodyguard Joseph Sherman.

But in a new interview with NBC New York, Joe has denied ever having met the woman , let alone take part in what she’s alleging.

“It’s a lie on me,” he said. “I don’t know this lady from anywhere. […] I am not questioning her integrity. I am just questioning her claims against me. You got the wrong man. I wasn’t even in the same room with you. I have never seen you. I wasn’t even in New York that I recall at the time.”

According to Joe, he did do security for Diddy and Bad Boy Records in the 90s, but was no longer with the company at the time she alleges the incident occurred in 2001.

Diddy Gets New Judge In Sex Trafficking & Racketeering Case

Diddy‘s sex trafficking and racketeering case has already undergone a major development with a change of judge early in proceedings.

On Thursday (October 3), a notice was issued announcing that the case had been reassigned to Judge Arun Subramanian, who took the bench just last year after being nominated by President Joe Biden. No reason for the change has been given by the court or the U.S. Attorney’s Office, and Diddy’s legal team have yet to comment on the swap.

Judge Andrew Carter was previously overseeing the high-profile case and his most significant actions to date have been repeatedly denying Diddy bail.

Lawyer Tony Buzbee Says More Celebs Will Be Sued With Diddy, Demand Letters Sent

Big celebrities on the level of Diddy are going to be sued for allegedly helping him carry out and cover up sexual assaults, unless they settle out of court first ... so says attorney Tony Buzbee.

The Houston-based attorney joined us Monday on "TMZ Live," and we asked him what we should be expecting from his forthcoming lawsuits against Diddy ... specifically, if other major celebs would be named as defendants too.

Buzbee says a bunch of famous people everyone has heard of are going to be sued by his law firm in the coming weeks ... and he's already sent out demand letters, giving these celebs the chance to pony up a lot of money to settle and avoid a public lawsuit.

And, get this ... Buzbee says some celebs have already settled.

The way Buzbee sees this case ... anyone involved with Diddy's alleged sexual assaults should be on the hook here ... and that includes folks who participated in the assaults, helped them happen, went to parties where they knew people were being drugged and assaulted, saw crimes being committed and remained silent, or helped cover up the assaults.

There was also speculation years later that Foxy lost her virginity to the rap legend and caught an STD in the process, but she later denied the claims.

Future & Metro Boomin’s ‘Like That’ Named In New Lawsuit By Estate Of Barry White

Future and Metro Boomin (along with Kendrick Lamar) are mentioned in a new lawsuit by the estate of legendary singer Barry White — but they’re not the ones being sued.

The Barry White Family Trust is suing 1980s rap duo Rodney-O & Joe Cooley, whose classic song “Everlasting Bass” is interpolated on Future, Metro and K.dot’s hit song “Like That” — Rodney and Cooley both received writing credits on the track. “Everlasting Bass” itself, the suit claims, uses elements of White’s 1973 song “I’m Gonna Love You Just a Little More Baby.”

The suit calls “Like That” the “infringing work,” but does not name any of the song’s producers or artists because the White estate believes that Kendrick, Metro, Future and their respective record companies have all indemnified themselves — meaning that they made an agreement with the owners of “Everlasting Bass” that if there were legal issues with “Like That” due to problems with the older song (such as uncleared samples) then the owners of “Everlasting Bass” would be liable, not the writers of “Like That.”

The White Family Trust is asking for “all profits and damages” resulting from the alleged infringement of their copyright.
