Rappers Getting Supper Ugly

Drake and Rick Ross are firing disses back and forth ... taking shots at each other's appearances -- with Ross even seemingly calling out a physical challenge to Drake.

Here's the deal ... Rick Ross recently dissed Drizzy with his song "Champagne Moments" in response to “Push Ups (Drop & Give Me Fifty)” -- and, among many other roasts, he claims Drake got a nose job.

The lyrics ... "You ain't never want to be a n**** anyway, n****/ That's why you had a operation to make your nose smaller than your father nose, n****."

Welp ... Drake finally responded to the diss -- sharing a text convo supposedly with his mom where she asks him point blank if he got a nose job without her.

The rapper jokes he would've got a two-for-one deal before claiming Ross has gone crazy on Mounjaro -- an antidiabetic drug some people use for weight loss -- saying he hasn't eaten for days and joking his career's fallen off bad.

DIDDY LAWSUIT: UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP PETITIONS TO BE DISMISSED

A Diddy lawsuit filed by a 16-year-old Jane Doe — who alleged that the embattled Bad Boy mogul and Aaron Hall raped her back in 1990 — has taken yet another turn, as Universal Music Group has petitioned the courts to be removed from the proceedings.

According to Law360, the music recording giant filed the petition with the New York courts on Thursday (April 11). UMG alleges that the Jane Doe’s claims are “untimely,” and have nothing to do with the label.

“The Complaint’s allegations, if true, are certainly disturbing,” reads the motion, according to the outlet. “Plaintiff makes no allegation supporting vicarious liability for battery or assault (nor could she). Plaintiff’s NIED [negligent infliction of emotional distress] claim also fails because she has not alleged any duty owed to her by UMGR, and nowhere in Plaintiff’s Complaint does she allege that UMGR’s conduct was extreme and outrageous, as she is required to do as a matter of legal sufficiency.”

A judge has not yet ruled on the matter.

In the suit, which was first filed back in November 2023, the plaintiff alleges that Diddy and Aaron Hall, best known as a member of the R&B/new jack swing group Guy, raped her and another woman on the same night.

According to the suit, the plaintiff — listed in the filing as Jane Doe — and a friend were invited back to Hall’s apartment following an industry event.

She claims Diddy “coerced” her into sex and that Hall later “barged into the room, pinned her down and forced [her] to have sex with him.”

Doe says her friend, who is not involved in the filing, claimed she “had been forced to have sex with Combs and Hall in another room.”

The suit also alleges that an “irate” Combs visited the woman and her friend again days later, “choking Jane Doe to the point that she passed out,” resulting in her seeking medical treatment.

Jeezy Seeks Custody of Daughter, Citing Jeannie Mai’s Busy Schedule

According to TMZ, in newly filed court docs, the rapper asked to be awarded primary custody of Monaco Mai Jenkins. Jeezy is “asking a judge to toss out the current custody and parenting time arrangement he hashed out in mediation with his estranged wife … and requesting that his daughter be allowed to live with him full-time,” the outlet writes.

Jeezy and Jeannie reportedly reached a parenting arrangement schedule for their daughter during mediation. However, according to new documents, the hip-hop star now wants full-time custody of Monaco, citing Mai’s busy schedule as the reason.

Jeezy filed for divorce in Atlanta, Georgia, in Sept. 2023, after two-and-a-half years of marriage. According to People, the filing states there is “no hope for reconciliation.”

3 Sad Deaths In The Hip Hop Community

Rico Wade -- a top Atlanta-based producer and former collaborator with OutKast and TLC -- has died ... according to rap legend Killer Mike.

Killer Mike shared a couple pics of the Atlanta rap game mainstay to his Instagram early Saturday morning ... sending prayers to Wade's family and thanking him for bringing him into musical collective The Dungeon Family back in the day.

Mike didn't provide a cause of death ... and, fellow hip hop legends -- like CeeLo Green and Three 6 Mafia -- shared their condolences on the post.

Wade co-founded Organized Noize -- a production trio alongside Ray Murray and Sleepy Brown -- and produced some of the biggest records in music history.

DJ Mister Cee -- a prominent fixture in hip hop's radio culture -- has died ... TMZ has confirmed.

76ers Unveil Allen Iverson Statue, Fans Roast Its Tiny Size

The 76ers just unveiled their new Allen Iverson statue ... and its stature has fans all across the NBA world scratching their heads -- wondering why the hell it's so small!!

Take a look at The Answer's new bust -- which Philadelphia officials just placed outside the Sixers' practice facility on Friday -- it's about the size of the Heisman Trophy!

In total, including its base, it appears to be less than six feet tall ... as AI -- who stands at 6'0 -- was quite literally at eye-level with it.

People who loved the Hall of Famer's game quickly took to social media to clown it ... with famed internet personality Jomboy writing, "Sixers promised Allen Iverson a statue and gave him a toy soldier."

Added basketball reporter Jeff Goodman, "Where’s the rest of the statue???"

Iverson, though, didn't seem to have much of an issue with it ... when he spoke with reporters about the figurine, he called it a whale of honor.

And, to be fair, most of the statues that currently reside outside of the team’s Camden practice facility aren't all that big … for instance, Charles Barkley's is only a few inches taller than him. But still, the internet wasn't pleased nonetheless.

It, of course, has been a rough year for NBA statue-makers ... as back in February, the Lakers revealed a sculpture honoring Kobe Bryant that was riddled with spelling errors.

The Miami Heat are in the works to erect a Dwyane Wade statue in the fall ... here's to hoping that one can avoid similar pitfalls.

Indiana State University Releases Statement Denouncing ‘Racist Video’ Directed at BeyoncĂ©

For those who insist racism is dead, all you need to do is read this. An Indiana State University student’s racist comments about BeyoncĂ© and her “Cowboy Carer” album have sparked protests from those who found the video after it went viral. Members of the ISU community are speaking out.

Here’s the deal. An ISU nursing student posted an anti-Black video to social media, saying that Black people cannot be “country.”

She continued her rant, referencing slavery, the student said, “I’m sorry, if you’re Black, you’re not country.”

“I know you were raised in the country, or your grandparents were,” she continued. “But they was picking. They wasn’t planting. Keep that in mind. They wasn’t making money. They was getting sold for money.”

The University said it is aware of the video and is monitoring the situation.

“As the video went viral, ISU President Deborah J. Curtis issued a statement to Facebook on April 10, condemning the comments made by the student.”

“Upon learning that a racist video from an Indiana State University student was posted online, we immediately worked with the vice president for Student Affairs to identify the student, communicate directly with student leaders, and strategize how to prioritize student well-being and safety,” the statement read.

“Racism, hate speech, and discrimination of any kind is deplorable and in direct contradiction of Indiana State’s mission, vision, and values. The student’s comments in the video in no way represent the ideals and goals of Indiana State University. We are appalled by the sentiments expressed in the video and condemn those comments in the strongest terms.”
