How much is Snoop Dogg getting paid for the Olympics?

New York-based venture capitalist Henry L. McNamara shared on social media that he overheard Snoop's daily Olympic salary from an NBC exec at dinner. The 52-year-old rapper is earning $500,000 a day, according to McNamara, which could exceed $8.5 million by the end of this year's Games.

Ayesha And Sonya Curry Left Furious And Emotional After Being Harassed By French Police

Curry was phenomenal in the final game against France, as he put up 24 points, 1 rebound, 5 assists, and 2 steals to help Team USA win the gold medal against France

Stephen Curry's family faced harassment and poor treatment from the French police. His wife Ayesha and mother Sonya were stopped by the French police from entering a certain part of the city, as there was a heavy police detail as the French president made his way to the closing ceremony. Ayesha was seen wiping away tears, and Sonya was clearly agitated, with Draymond Green intervening to explain the situation.

This is a really bad look for the French police. While no one is advocating for any kind of special treatment for the Currys, their requests were not outlandish, as they were just trying to make their way out of the city. Furthermore, Ayesha was carrying her and Stephen's newborn son, and was worried about his safety, causing her emotional reaction.

It is a good thing Draymond Green, and another unnamed man, presumably their translator, were there to help them, as they were struggling to communicate with the French police. But regardless of the language barrier, the French police should have shown more sympathy to them and helped escort them to where they needed to go.

Hopefully, the situation didn't escalate any further, and the Currys were able to make their way out of Paris safely. We can hope that this incident with the French police didn't ruin their trip, as it was one filled with highlights, as Stephen Curry played a massive role in Team USA's gold medal journey.

Angel Reese calls out ESPN for 2028 Olympics prediction

Following her controversial exclusion from the Team USA roster for the Paris Olympics, Chicago Sky rookie forward Angel Reese is weary of the ongoing drama and prefers to shift the spotlight back to Team USA, the gold medalists.

ESPN’s Sunday morning post notes, “Yes, the U.S. women’s 67-66 win over France is still soaking in. But … who will suit up for Team USA in the 2028 Olympics? Caitlin Clark? Angel Reese? Paige Bueckers? JuJu Watkins?”

The post followed Team USA’s tense 67-66 win over the host nation, a victory achieved without the presence of either Reese or her rookie rival, the Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark.

Reese responded on X (formerly Twitter) expressing frustration at being pulled into the spotlight again. “Let’s just congratulate these women & let them enjoy this moment! Leave me out of this until my time comes! 😇” said Angel Reese.

Breakdancing Makes Viewers Cringe in Olympics Debut: 'Giving Hayden Panettiere in 'Bring It On"

Breaking — or breakdancing, as it's more commonly known among average people — made its Olympics debut on Friday morning and, well, fans weren't exactly impressed. They were delighted, but they were not impressed.

Actor and rapper Ice-T was particularly excited, posting on X in the hours before the event that it was "gonna blow the minds of people that haven't seen breaking in a while…" But, for the most part, viewers were underwhelmed by the quality of the dancing.

Others were fascinated by the competitors themselves — particularly Australia's entrant, Rachael Gunn.

Known as RayGunn on stage, her actual moves were criticized, but it was her background that drew people's confusion. She's a 36-year-old former jazz and ballroom dancer, who graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Contemporary Music and got a PhD in Cultural Studies.

And she was far from the only person with a relatively "normal" background. "Imagine being 41, a kindergarten teacher, and competing in the Olympics' first breaking competition. That's wild," one fan joked.

Kanye West at Number Two Behind Taylor Swift

Kanye West took a big L at the hands of someone he's had beef with for years -- one Taylor Swift!

Kanye's streak of 11 consecutive No. 1 albums was just broken, because "Vultures 2" fell short of the top spot by 1 ... and that 1 belongs to TS' "The Tortured Poets Department."

Taylor must be reveling in her latest win. Kanye's been a thorn in her side ever since 2009, when he hijacked her moment at the MTV Video Music Awards, telling the world Beyoncé was robbed and should have taken home the prize.

“Vultures 2” is projected to debut at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart with 68,000 album units, which is made up of both sales and streaming totals, according to music industry trade publication Hits Daily Double.

The album will likely fall behind Swift’s “Tortured Poets Department,” which the publication expects will retain its No. 1 slot with 125,000 album units, of which 68,000 are album sales.

Jay-Z Stakes Future Claim to 'Reasonable Doubt' Amid Damon Dash Auction

Jay-Z is staking legal claim to the master recordings of his iconic debut album ... and it's a "buyer beware" notice, of sorts, to anyone getting ready to drop more than $1 million to buy Damon Dash's share of Roc-A-Fella Records.

TMZ Hip Hop has learned Jay's attorneys just made a legal filing that might normally fly under the radar, but here's why it's suddenly very relevant. As we first reported, Dame's third of Roc-A-Fella is going up for auction later this month, and the label's only real asset is Jay-Z's 1996 album, "Reasonable Doubt."

While Roc-A-Fella currently holds the copyright on the record and all its tracks ... Jay's attorneys have now filed notice that those rights will revert to one Shawn Carter/"Jay-Z" in 2031.

So, what does this mean for the August 29 auction? Whoever ends up winning Dame's shares -- minimum bid is $1.2 million -- will enjoy one-third of all "Reasonable Doubt" revenues ... but only for about the next 6 years and change. Then it's all Jay's.

Of course, this could potentially have a chilling effect on how high the bidding goes.

Rick Ross Sued by Disabled Man For Not Making Car Show Wheelchair Accessible

Rick Ross is facing a new legal challenge ... 'cause a man just sued him, claiming Ross didn't ensure his car show was accessible for disabled people.

A man named Darris Straughter is suing Ross because he says Ross marketed his car show as a dream opportunity to visit his property ... but he says he didn't get the chance ... because a wheelchair-accessible shuttle bus never arrived to get him to the event -- despite claiming he got multiple assurances there would be one.

Darris says he paid for travel, lodging and bought a ticket -- even selling his car to do so -- to Rick Ross' Car & Bike Show ... and claims he reached out to the venue two weeks in advance to give them notice he needed reasonable accommodation for his wheelchair.

He claims car show organizers told him they'd have a shuttle to take him from the parking lot to the event ... but says, after waiting several hours it never came. He got fed up, gave away his ticket, and went back to his hotel.

Darris and his lawyer, John Hoover Esq., say organizers promised a refund for anyone who didn't get into the event ... but says nobody ever followed up with him.

He's suing Rick for breach of contract, unjust enrichment, and violation of the Americans With Disabilities Act ... and he's asking for damages and an order forcing the car show to provide disabled access in the future.

Blueface Sentenced to 4 Years in Prison After Judge Revokes Probation

It looks like Blueface won't be having that summer celebration his mother hoped for -- a judge just hit the "Thotiana" rapper with a stiff sentence ... 4 years in prison.

Blueface's parents were front and center Friday to support of their son, and heartbroken by the news he's gonna do hard time ... which we confirmed Friday with the court.

His father Johnathan fought back tears when he heard the news ... and Blue's mother Karlissa thanked fans, while assuring them her son had turned over a new leaf behind bars.

His manager Wack 100 tells TMZ Hip Hop ... he was able to get Blue's sentencing suspended for the past few years, but after recently being caught with drug paraphernalia, that forced the judge's hand to give him the max sentence.

Wack's confident Blue will be home in roughly 10 months. His optimistic calculation is Blue gets credit for 440 days already served, and the State of California only makes him serve one-third of the remaining sentence. That's a best-case scenario, for sure.

The rap star had been placed on probation for his 2021 assault case ... at Skinny's Lounge in the San Fernando Valley.

Fugees North American Tour Canceled

Lauryn Hill is finally breaking her silence on the surprise cancellation of the North American leg of the Fugees reunion tour -- Turns out, it came down to low ticket sales.

In a social media statement, the singer pointed to skewed, clickbait press headlines about an injury that forced her to reschedule her tour last year ... claiming they created a negative narrative that turned people off from buying tickets.

The Game Ordered To Return To Court Over Further Consequences Of Sexual Assault Judgement

The Game is set to appear in court once again to satisfy the judgement handed down against him a sexual assault case in 2016, the bulk of which remains unpaid.

According to AllHipHop, United States District Judge Mark C. Scarsi has ordered the rapper to appear in court on October 7 as the latest request by Game’s accuser Priscilla Rainey is decided.

In June, Rainey served the rapper with new legal documents seeking to seize his residence in Calabasas, California to cover the $7 million judgement she was awarded eight years ago.

Additionally, she has accused the 44-year-old MC of transferring the home’s deed to his manager Wack 100 in an attempt to block the move

Rainey first filed the case in August 2015, seeking $10 million after she claimed the Los Angeles native sexually assaulted her during what she thought was a required after-hours date for VH1 reality show She Got Game. She alleged that the “Hate It Or Love It” hitmaker got drunk and high, following which he forced “his hand inside her dress to rub her bare vagina and buttocks.”

The Game denied these claims and has always maintained his innocence. A motion for a new trial was thrown out in September 2018, after which Rainey threatened to come after The Game’s royalties. In 2019, a judge granted a motion that allowing her to collect the rapper’s music royalties until the $7.1 million post-judgment interest is paid off in full.

Last year, however, Rainey claimed that she had only accrued $383,502.39 from his royalties.
